Why Do Some Burning Programs Not Recognize My Dvd Burner In Windows 7

Because of the GUI interface, I like to use CDBurnerXP and I like dBpoweramp’s audio CDWriter capability.

CDBurnerXP will burn .wav files, but not DATA files; dBpoweramp will rip and convert audio files, but not write them once converted.

Is there some registry tweak that needs to be done or undone ?

I’m running Windows 7 Professional on a Toshiba Satellite L305.
